Jay Gibson
Carolina Orthopedic Massage grew out of Jay's passion for problem solving. The questions Jay investigates start with you and your journey in finding pain relief from a medical condition, chronic pain, or injury. Jay is committed to working with you to understand the dysfunction in your body and helping you fully recover from pain. Jay is licensed in North Carolina as a Massage and Bodywork Therapist (LMBT). What sets Jay apart is the specific knowledge he brings to therapy, an orthopedic perspective. Orthopedic massage (OM) is a comprehensive system involving therapeutic assessment, manipulation, and movement of soft tissues to resolve pain and dysfunction. OM's focus is restoring physical movement and structural balance throughout the body for both prevention and rehabilitation of musculoskeletal pain. Jay's training includes study under Jerry Hesch, PT; Erik Dalton, PhD; and James Waslaski, all internationally recognized pain resolution and structural alignment experts. Jay's expertise allows him to find and correct your body's dysfunction allowing you to move freely and function properly.

Cindy Valle
Cynthia (Cindy) Valle is a Master Myoskeletal Therapist and is also certified in Manual Lymphatic
Drainage-Complete Decongestive Therapy and Sports Massage. She is a Level One Mobility
Therapist in Physiokinetix. She has additionally received extensive training in Orthopedic Massage, Myofascial Release, Neurosomatic Therapy, Reflexology and Swedish Massage.

Cindy works with clients of all ages and capabilities to alleviate a variety of physical challenges, from simple stress relief to chronic pain conditions.

Cindy has been a massage therapist since 2010. She is a Board Certified Massage Therapist with the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork. She is licensed in the State of North Carolina and the State of Texas. Cindy is also a Certified Member of the Associated Bodywork & Massage Professionals.

Alex R. Spassoff
Alex R. Spassoff, B.A., LMBT (NC LMBT# 18677), is a second generation massage therapist, originally licensed in the state of Florida in 1976. He began his training by shadowing and working with his father, Dimiter “Dick” Spassoff, an assistant trainer for the Baltimore Colts. As an undergraduate, he was the Trainer for the National Championship Wittenberg University football and nationally ranked basketball teams. He specializes in Total Body Balancing, Energetic Balancing, Craniosacral and Visceral Manipulation. What is Total Body Balancing (TBB)? It is a full body and treatment approach which focuses on reducing pain and body tension. This whole body approach affects not only the musculoskeletal system but the visceral, lymphatic, nervous and craniosacral systems. After completing massage school (Palm Beach School of Massage Therapy), Alex continued his massage education studying with Dr. William Fischer, DC; Paul St. John, LMT; Dr. John Upledger, DO; Dr. Leon Chaitow, ND,DO; Dr. Dallas Hancock, DC, Judith Walker Delaney, LMT, George Kousaleous, LMT; David Palmer, Dr. Jean-Pierre Barral, DO, MRO(F), PT and Dr. Kerry D’Ambrogio,D.O.M.,A.P., P.T.,D.O.-M.T.P.. He has been a teaching assistant with Paul St. John, Dr. Dallas Hancock, Judith Delaney and the D’Ambrogio Institute.
